This week’s live session was an introduction to core – something I know people get confused about.
The “core” is a selection of muscles surrounding the lumbar spine and it’s important that they are strong but also flexible, that they work as a team and that they are strengthened in numerous positions and under different loads.
You may be thinking about strengthening your core if you are struggling with back pain, need some help with posture, you are postnatal (even if its 20 years!!) or simply want to improve the aesthetics of your middle (!)
