This weeks #midweekmobility is the fabulous Spine Stretch.
💕This exercise is great to find space and articulation in the spine, develop abdominal control and find a lovely stretch along the hamstrings.
Tips for success…
Be careful not to reach from your shoulders, when you round forwards make sure the shape comes from your spine position, not from bringing shoulders to ears.
Try not to worry about how far forwards you reach. Instead focus on the pull BACK of the belly and the rounding of the spine. Collapsing over your legs will not stretch your spine (and will encourage shoulders to lift which we don’t want)
